I was on the same medication as myself (but not a lot) and my doctor prescribed me a sildenafil (tadalafil) (the generic) at a high dosage and a dapoxetine (oxazepam) at a lower dose. I have heard about the sildenafil in the pharmacy (it is usually taken in the morning) and when the dose was low it was a little higher and I didn't have any problems with the dosage. I've heard that it's been used in conjunction with counselling (it's a combination of things) but I didn't want to give up on it. It's not as common as I thought, but it may be possible, especially when other treatments don't work well.
I was put on a higher dose of sildenafil (the generic) and was told to take the higher dose. The sildenafil and dapoxetine were fine as long as the dapoxetine was at a good dose. I'm a bit hesitant if it's possible to get a low dose that way.
I do have side effects, but I'm not sure if it's possible to take them together or I should have it on a separate day. The only thing I know is if I have to start on this for an extended period. My doctor is concerned about that. He doesn't know if he should have it or if it's possible to have an overdose of it, but I've read in the literature that it can be done. I've also read that it's possible to get an overdose of it if you're taking it for a long time and are too low.
Any advice?
Thank you,
Linda M:
Dr Fox,
You mention that you take tadalafil (tadalafil) with or without food. I've read that it's usually taken with food. Does this mean that you're taking it with food? I'm not sure why it was given to me with food, but I think that it may have been a result of me thinking I should take it with food. I have no idea. Thanks!
I take it with food. But that's not an endorsement for food, I think the medication is for me, I'm taking it for fun and a lot of the time is for good reasons. I do have side effects, but not as much as I would like them to be.
Thank you both very much,
It's good to have my opinion and the advice. If you don't have any side effects, do you still need a prescription for it?
Absolutely! I think it's important that patients get prescribed a medication that has been well tolerated, because if a drug does not do its job, it's not going to be effective. And the only way to make sure you are taking the right medication is to be a good doctor.
Thank you both so much for all the advice. I'll keep an eye on the dosage and see what happens. I'm a bit worried about this because it may be possible to get an overdose of it.
This is an emergency for me, and I can't afford to take any medication without a prescription. So, I've been on it for about 4 years and I've never had an overdose. So, I don't think I need any more advice. I'm still on tadalafil. I'm on the same dose as before.
P. S. You've all read the other posts on this thread. It's great to hear you're taking the right medication! And how many times in the past have you had a side effect that was worse than the first? I mean, what happened to my heart, where the heart was, and what happened to my blood pressure, is all that matters. And I think I was on a higher dose than I was on any other medication.
Thank you so much for the advice and support. I'll be checking out the website at the end of the week and hopefully see what happens.
